The other day while I was at my friend's, everything was working fine, and then suddenly half of them stopped. Known programs that will still connect is Firefox and AIM. Unfortunately, Itunes, Windows Live, Yahoo, and World of Warcraft will not. I have Windows 7 ultimate. I disabled the windows firewall and (maybe) closed out AVG. The reason why I say maybe is because I did not see an option to disable the AVG firewall, so I used the Ctrl/Alt/Del method. I have spent a couple days now trying to figure this out, playing with "allow program" options and uninstalling/reinstalling. Any help? Note: Yahoo Messenger now will NOT reinstall :( Only lead I have is Yahoo Messenger (in the beginning) and Windows Live stating that they cannot connect, and to check the proxy settings.
