[LYMAN] Elephant Seals!
Howdy Lyman,
The elephant seals are mating again, and one of the best times to see them is this Saturday! Lyman will be going to the Ano Nuevo State Reserve this Saturday to see the elephant seals and pups on a 3-mile, 2.5 hrs guided tour. Normally, the tour is $5/person, but if you come with Lyman, it's totally free! The plan is to meet by the Tree at 12:15 pm, carpool over to the Ano Nuevo State Reserve, and take the 2:30 pm guided tour. We'll grab dinner afterwards, depending on time and hunger and return around 6 or 7 pm. We've only got spots for 12 people, so sign-up outside 3103 and drop a check made out to Lyman for $5 (the check just makes sure you're definitely coming and you'll get the checks back when we meet up at the Tree). You'll get an e-mail with more information when your spot is confirmed. Be forewarned though, the guided tours can be a bit strenuous and they run rain or shine so depending on the weather for the day, raingear could be required (currently Weather.com is predicting "few showers" (30%) while Accuweather.com is predicting rain in the evening).
Cheers,
The CAs
