Microsoft Max:
"Getting users to fall in love with your software"
Presented by Hillel Cooperman
Product Unit Manager, Microsoft Max
Wednesday, March 1st @ 5:30 PM
Location: Packard 101
The art of user experience design is at a crossroads. At the beginning
of the graphical user interface revolution, consistency and concept
reuse represented vast leaps forwards for usability and intuitiveness
bringing computing power to new legions of customers. The user
interface practices and advances of the web, the connectedness of our
world, and the fidelity and flexibility of computing devices has
brought us to the point where consistency and concept reuse are no
longer enough. There are new elements to take into account when making
software that users won't just find useful but will love. And making
software that users fall in love with is a worthy endeavor.
Subway Sandwiches will be served!
